THE COWBOY was shot on 16 mm, but edited in Final Cut Pro. I wrote, directed, edited and even ended up in the film. (NCSU coursework)

BLOWN IT was my second time with 16 mm. I wrote, shot, and directed it, and was privileged to have had an editor friend take an interest and edit the film. (NCSU coursework)

WAR OF THE WORLDS DOCUMENTARY was part of a DVD I produced to immortalize the ambitious and exciting endeavor of NCSU's 88.1 FM WKNC Raleigh's live radio broadcast of War of the Worlds. In addition to the interviews and snippets here, there is footage from the full length video capture of the event. That is, I led a tiny crew with four video cameras spread throughout the radio station to ensure proper coverage of the broadcast. I edited in Final Cut Pro, and created graphics in Adobe After Effects. (NCSU coursework)

WAR OF THE WORLDS DISC MENU is a montage of primarily spontaneous handheld footage from the evening, a sort of valentine to those involved in the production. The soundtrack is by Raleigh, NC band, Starmount, whose music was used throughout the broadcast. Again, I edited in Final Cut Pro, and created graphics in Adobe After Effects.

GUY WITH A MOVIE CAMERA was my simple, non-narrative, slightly cheeky response to the "city symphony films" such as "Man with a Movie Camera" , "Go Go Go", and "Manhatta". (NCSU coursework)

CHAPTER ONE is an exercise I had my brother work on with me to help him get his filmmaker feet wet. Not just by sheer coincidence, his character in this short is also learning about movie making. We shot this on a Samsung Galaxy S7 phone, and I edited it using AVS Video Editor.

VISION QUEST WEBSITE WELCOME was fully produced by me in my freelance videographer days for a Raleigh wealth management company as part of a package I worked on for them. This video was edited using Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects.

Here's a little October fun. SPOOK is a one-shot camera movement exercise for my MFA at City College of New York.
Shot on Panasonic UX90, edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.

  1. Editing assignment for in Adobe Premiere Pro. (CCNY)
